Add Functionality to a Sliced PSD

By: RiverCityGraphix      Views: 2843      Share: Bookmark and Share

In this tutorial, you will learn how to add functionality to the sliced PSD that we showed how to create in a previous tutorial using Dreamweaver CS3.

This is the second part of the series on slicing a PSD for use in Dreamweaver. The part focuses on the functionality within Dreamweaver. Once you open up the html file that Photoshop exports, you can choose to add functionality how ever you want. Please keep in mind that you must have something in the place of each slice. You can fill them with divs, content, images, or leave them as the default images exported from Photoshop. If you delete the slices and don't replace them, it could mess up your layout. Good luck on adding functionality to your sliced PSD. The video details some of the simple things that you can do to get you started.
