In this tutorial, you will learn how slice PSDs for use in Dreamweaver in Photoshop CS3.

Slicing Photoshop Documents, or PSDs can be an especially helpful tool when creating a website. With a sliced PSD, you can easily import it into Dreamweaver and add functionality to it. There are advantages and disadvantages to creating a site this way. Sliced PSDs allow your site to look exactly how you want it and not have to compromise design due to lack of coding skill. On the other hand, if you want to make changes to site design later, or add in content that is bigger than a slice, things can get a little crazy. Make use of scrolling divs and templates when using this technique.
